CHIPOLO PLUS About the Startup How did you come up with the idea for this product? After months of research and countless whiteboard sessions, we took our paper sketches and started designing, programming and constructing the first Chipolo prototype. We used the latest high quality electronic components to create the longest range of any Bluetooth finder. After various attempts and numerous improvements, we successfully completed the final, working and fully-tested hardware prototype. In the meantime, our designers created the casing. Chipolo's optimized design is produced with carefully selected materials and designed with delicate precision. Finally, after plenty of persistent team work, the beautiful design, state-of-the-art electronic components, and user-friendly software all fit together like a puzzle. What makes Chipolo the best Bluetooth finder? Chipolo comes in nine gorgeous colors that express your own personality. You can use a different color for each of your possessions, or each family member can have his/her own color. Up to 9 Chipolos can be paired with one phone, and any Chipolo can be linked to up to 4 different phones. Chipolo is slim and sleek -- only 1.37in diameter and 0.2 thick so you can attach it to almost any anything and carry it anywhere. Chipolo uses a standard watch battery that is easily replaced by anyone. The battery lasts about 6 months, and a spare battery is provided with every Chipolo. Chipolos Bluetooth 4.0 range is up to 200 feet. Chipolo also serves as a thermometer with a built-in temperature sensor. What has been the best part of your startup experience? The best part of our startup journey was our Kickstarter campaign. We are very proud that our backers are part of the Chipolo journey.
