14, 2008 Title: Thrilled with WalkAbout Lite 2 Rollaboard I could not be more pleased with this piece of luggage.
Earlier in the month I purchased a smaller model from the same family to take aboard aircraft as carry-on luggage for the overhead. It fit like a charm.
As one nice part of Lite 2's meticulous design, I was able to piggyback the smaller bag onto this suitcase and have all perfectly balanced using the strap that came with the luggage. My outbound Lite 2 weighed 51 pounds and my carry-on about 25 pounds including my laptop. I could trundle these around the airport and rental car agency almost effortly - with much less than a pound of pressure on the handle.
It has a nice color to resist showing turnstyle dirt and grease nice internal pouches nice external compartments; sturdy zippers; quality, large & low-friction wheels; zipper-expandable feature; strong handles; tough exterior; light-in-weight. It even has a clever "pop-up" feature on the feet front side that tilts the suitcase back so that it doesn't fall forward when the expansion feature us used - thereby shifting the center of gravity.
As a designer and product manager in another field, I can tell you that I'd be very proud to have designed such a fine bit of applied engineering!
Superb - and at a "modest" price.
My congratulations to Travelpro.

4060725 Product Review The only thing I wish the design had is the wheels that turned in all directions. I really like the idea of the removable plastic waterproof hang up bag that attaches inside the suitcase and then can be hung in the shower and/or bathroom.

4060725 Product Review Don't ever buy a TravelPro! My husband's TravelPro has traveled side by side with my Samsonite. His TP is two years old...my "Sam" is 5 years old. Everytime he uses it, something else falls off it...the zipper tabs, the back rib, and now the handle!!! The company does not stand behind the product at all! The product is not worth the overly inflated price...I will stick with my Samsonite, which is still in great condition!!! Don't buy this product!

4060725 Product Review I haven't used this particular piece yet, but own many of the other pieces in the set, they have been great and have been durable.
