How long are the straps, i.e. how may inches do they drop down? Is there an alternate fitting for a longer strap?

Measures 11.5 inches from top of straps to top of bag. Strap length cannot be adjusted- Answered

12, 2007 Title: Wonderful! This wonderful bag more than meets my expectations. As someone who flies frequently, I want a bag that is stylish, sturdy, functional, and accommodates my 14 laptop -- this bag does all of that and more. The leather is of a very nice quality and the color is beautiful. The straps are reinforced well where they attach to the bag, and they are comfortable and stay put when resting on my shoulder. The metal feet allow the bag to stand upright while protecting the bottom, and the interior is well organized with plenty of room. I couldn't be happier with this purchase, and wouldn't hesitate to buy a bag from Clark & Mayfield again. Hat's off to LuggageOnline as well, for delivering this bag two days ahead of schedule.

31, 2008 Title: Good buy First off, this bag is large. It is also a stylish bag which is very durable. It has enough space to fit my laptop and some files comfortably. However, do not try to stuff the kitchen sink in here, it will not fit, I tried!. The only reason that stopped me from giving this 5 stars is the straps. Although the straps were long enough to fit comfortably on your shoulder, I would have preferred that it has also had a strap that you could fit around your chest, when the bag gets heavy with your laptop and other items.
