Are the zipper pulls and other hardware solid metal, i.e. steel, or are they plastic/polycarbonate that is stained to look like metal?

#DA305 is made of oil-tanned leather - leather that is tanned using oils to create a very soft, pliable finish. This duffel will provide years of service and requires occasional leather conditioning as with all leather luggage. Zippers are reliable as long as they are not strained due to over-packing- Answered

27, 2006 Title: He has his own now! I bought this bag for my husband as a Christmas gift. He has worn out several cloth duffels and usually tries to borrow my slightly larger matching piece. Now he has his own with plenty of room for a weekend trip or the perfect carry-on piece for flying.

07, 2006 Title: Super bag for a man or a women... I bought this weekend bag hoping it would be stylish enough that I would like carrying it, but simple enough that my husband could use it on business trips, as well. The styling and quality exceeded my expectations.

01, 2006 Title: Dependable Leather Duffel Bought this duffel because I wanted a classic looking leather duffel. It is nicely build and holds a weekend's worth of cloths. Side pockets make access and organization a snap. The should strap could have been built a little bit better. I do recommend this product.
