Is the track for the handle inside or outside the case? The last case I bought was on the outside and it got damaged in travel.
A:
The handle system is on the outside of the case.- Answered

Q:
Curious about the wheel design. This is usually the failure point for luggage that is transported. It usually becomes crushed or snapped off by baggage handling systems or baggage handlers when loading / unloading. Are the wheels protected by inline skirts to avoid damage ?
Thanks.

Q:
I understand that the locks are not TSA. However, could I lock this luggage using TSA padlocks purchased from outside?? If not what Samsonite or American Tourister 31 luggage has TSA locks?
A:
There is no way to attach a TSA lock to this case. Samsonite offers locks on some of their other lines. Silhouette, Aspire, and Xion offer TSA locks.- Answered

05, 2006 Title: Best Piece of Luggage EVER purchased I was going through a piece of luggage every year and finally decided I would invest more money for a top line suitcase. I started asking around and a colleague who flies a lot of international flights recommended this one. It was even less money they I planned to spend. When the suitcase arrived, I was worried. It seemed flimsy and I thought I'd never buy it if I had seen it in person. But then, I took it for two weeks through 2 countries. Not only did it hold up well, but I got in a hurry and put a glass item inside and it arrived from Germany in tact! Also, because you can't push the sides out like a soft suitcase, it is actually easier to stay within your weight limits. This is definitely the largest size for extended travel. I will be purchasing the smaller sizes because I am that impressed.

411414 Product Review This piece seemed to hold up well against all baggage handlers. The finish got a bit scuffed up, but that is to be expected. So far, so good!

17, 2005 Title: A No Nonsense Suitcase I travel to Europe and Asia often. This is not to mention my “commute” to Indiana almost every week and other domestic travel. Simply put, I constantly travel. I have been through a “zillion” suitcases and these things are all but bullet proof. It’s kind of funny but because of it’s style and color, I can see them loading suitcases on to the plane and be able to spot mine out of all of the other 500 bags and know it made the flight on those tight transfers. I can also spot my bag a mile away at baggage claim. Trust me, this is important when a 747 is being unloaded. I will never go back to a black canvas “like everybody else” bag again. Keep your Hartmann’s and your Louis’s; this one is built for people that really travel. The interior has no frou-frou lining or 50 all but useless zipper pockets. The whole case is strictly business. The handles, wheels, and latches are all a dead snap to replace if it ever needs them. If you really travel, this is the one.

06, 2006 Title: Great option for scuba divers This suitcase is great for suba divers. You can easily fit your boyancy compensator, fins, exposure suit and other equipment in it. This suitcase is not going to get crushed, and that's a real plus when transporting dive gear. There's no liner in this suitcase, which is great if your gear is slightly damp on the return trip. Another plus is that it doesn't look like a suitcase full of expensive dive equipment, and it's easy to spot at the baggage claim because it's so different from most other travel luggage. The extension handle locks in place, giving you the option to push it as well as pull it, which is convenient when you have another bag that has to be pulled. The only areas in need of improvement are (1) the locking mechanism, which should use TSA locks, and (2) there should be a second handle on the top of the bag in addition to the extension handle. This would be more convenient than using the extension handle for lifting from the top and would also allow another smaller bag to be hung off it. Otherwise, this is a great product. Highly recommended.
