02, 2010 Title: Traveler's Luggage I travel a lot - over 120,000 miles a year, I used to have a hard side case and replaced it with this one. It actually appears bigger than the hard side case but it fits end on into MD-88 overheads where as the hard side didn't . Inside it is bigger and seems to accept far more content and packs easier than the hard side case although the suit attachment to the zip top takes a little getting used to. Internally it has several mesh zip pockets which I am slowly getting used to using.
The handle has several lock positions one very high that tilts the bag well when carrying an add-a-bag on its strap and lower positions if you have a computer bag attached to the handle. The bag looks sufficiently good that I have had comments on its looks from flight attendants!
I have only had it for around a dozen flights so its difficult to assess durability but I would say its going to last well the skate wheels run really smoothly and should last too.
If there is one minor point it is that someone let an imaginative designer come up with the hook design - hooks are pretty simple things so the designer came up with a slide in and pop-up plastic clip system for all the hooks in the bag, They work - but a simple hook would have been better especially for the somewhat fiddly add-a-bag strap.
All in all though an excellent piece of luggage.

05, 2010 Title: Still under review I love the bag except the handle has issues sticking and does not pop up or go down with out assistance. I am giving it one more trip to see if it improves. I love the easy pull and the ammount I can pack and still carry on.

05, 2010 Title: Style and Quality This is the 3rd set of Travelpro luggage that I've bought over the past 11 years. Each set has lasted 5 - 6 years depending on how much the airlines beat it up. Each set has been an improvement on the one before, and this set is great. It's lighter and more durable.
