Can this belt be worn under a shirt. I don't want a fanny pak. I would perfer a belt type.

Yes. This belt is meant to be 'undercover' so it goes underneath your clothing, and is not worn on your exterior like a fanny pack.- Answered

25, 2006 Title: Interesting Product Overall a helpful product, however it would have been better if it was made with stronger fabric-I tore a small hole in it the third day I used it and I had to "make-do".
It was used in Barcelona, Greece and Paris-works great. Had no problem with pickpockets except that it was awkward when you had to pull out extra money.
